Provided strategic/functional/technical guidance and direction for the PeopleSoft 9.0 upgrade. Served as the Technical Director providing strategies and direction for a successful upgrade. Management of several government agencies’ representatives and their expectations, provided change management direction to enable a smooth transition to the upgrade. Managed subcontractors and technical and functional resources, rolled out of/coordinating training requirements and schedules of the systems integrator and the user community were a significant part of the project requirements. Required significant knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 application and its’ technical and functional requirements and capabilities.

Provided Application Support and Maintenance for their PeopleSoft Financials, (GL, A/R, A/P, Purchasing, Inventory, Project Accounting and Commitment Control) and HR Applications. The Commission has approximately 53 active contracts that are being monitored and reported on. Gathered requirements, the overall design and implementation of the project accounting module and all financial modules. During the process of FERC considering the upgrade of their Human Resource Application, we were responsible for providing risk management analysis to determine the feasibility of the upgrade, the impact it would have on the organization as a whole, the potential risks that needed to be mitigated and finally, the risks associated with the roll-out. Defined and delivered a communication plan to alert the user community of the intended roll-out, set their expectations, identified potential risks and provided guidance needed to mitigate those risks.

Provided hands-on program/project management of a complete implementation of PeopleSoft Financials 8.8 and 8.8 SP1, HCM 8.8 and EPM 8.9. Our Responsibilities included the following: Efficiencies of the project, including requirements determination and gathering, system design, generation of all required design documents, FIT/GAP analysis of all modules implemented and designed all requirements for custom workflows. Wrote the functional requirements and technical specifications for the overall implementation while working with the client personnel in gathering requirements and was involved in translating the client business processes into PeopleSoft business processes and blend where needed. Wrote the functional requirements and technical specifications for the EPM implementation while working with the client personnel in gathering requirements.

rmined the best solution available for the institution and recommended the best fit; Performed a FIT/GAP analysis and produced documents to justify conclusions; Prepared Functional/Technical Requirements documents, software demonstrations, software evaluation criteria, vendor evaluation criteria and interact with the various user groups. - Configured and implemented PeopleSoft EPM 8.9 in the development environment in order to provide the user community insight into the PeopleSoft capabilities. - Met with user group managers to detail the functions and requirements of their groups in order to fully capture their needs and ensure full, efficient and effective integration with the other PeopleSoft modules.
